The NLRB's recent decision in the Stericycle case has set a new standard for evaluating the lawfulness of employer work rules. This new standard is likely to impact more than a dozen typical handbook policies. Employers should carefully review their policies to ensure that they comply with the new standard. D. Bert Brennan, a partner at Fisher & Phillips, LLP, will be discussing the Stericycle decision and will provide an overview of the decision and its implications for employers.
